Rev. Daman Derick Rodgers

The Rev. Daman Derick Rodgers is the Presbyter in charge at the Church of the Epiphany, Gurgaon.

Rev. Rodgers was born as the second child to Mr. William Rodgers Mall and his wife Christina in April 1971. He was brought up in a simple and God-fearing environment. He did his schooling from Frank Anthony Public School, New Delhi and graduated from Delhi University. He completed a professional diploma course in Hotel Management and worked for one of the oldest and highly-reputed hotel chains in India, for 18 years. He also completed a professional diploma in Tours, Travel and Ticketing.

Rev. Rodgers got married to Seema in 1996 and they have two sons, elder son Arpit Willy Rodgers and the younger Adesh Reuben Rodgers.

He committed himself to the Lord’s full-time ministry in 2009 after completing his Theological Studies. He was sent to United Church Ambala Sadar as his first pastoral posting. He was transferred to the Church of the Epiphany, Gurgaon as Presbyter in charge in June 2017.

Since then he has been ministering at the Church of the Epiphany, Gurgaon and Sadhu Sunder Singh Church, Sohna. It is God’s grace that the project of the church at Sohna, which commenced during the tenure of Rev. Sunil Ghazan, got completed during Rev. Rodger’s tenure. It is equally a privilege and a blessing from the Lord that the restoration of the 156 year old original building of The Church of Epiphany, Gurgaon (consecrated in 1866), was also undertaken and completed during his tenure in 2021.
